Founded in 1996, Greeninfo Network is an organization that supports public interest organizations, agencies in California and environmental non-profits in the Bay Area with geospatial technology. This OE grant will help fund a marketing research project to better define the type and scale of services they should be providing to key public interest sectors. Greeninfo is trying to obtain a better understanding of the emerging requirements of a wider range of organizations, in terms of content, geography and scale. The organization will hire a consultant to conduct a series of interviews and explore the following topics:
1. Who needs what type of geospatial technology services.
2. Who do they see as being able to best meet their needs.
3. What are the key barriers to meeting those needs.
4. How do they get trusted information about technology opportunities and capacities.
