LearnPhilanthropy's website is central to its success as it's the main content delivery vehicle and connection point for foundation staff seeking learning material. This OE grant will enable several key upgrades to the site that will support improved navigation and search on the site as well as the sale of eBooks.

for the LearnPhilanthropy project at the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy
LearnPhilanthropy is a new resource to support learning in and across foundations. Using an online platform, like a wiki, LearnPhilanthropy will provide grantmakers with learning resources and promote connections among peers for the purposes of sharing philanthropic practices, successes, challenges, lessons learned, and more. The initiative was incubated at the Council on Foundations during a three-year pilot, and this grant will support the transition of LearnPhilanthropy to a new, permanent home at the Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Rapids State University. In addition, the funds will support improvements to the technology platform as well as the expansion of learning resources and their use by foundation staffs across the country.
