Overview
The Global Steering Group for Impact Investment (GSG) is an independent group catalyzing impact investment and entrepreneurship to benefit people and the planet. It was established in August 2015 as the successor to, and incorporating the work of, the Social Impact Investment Task Force established under the U.K.’s presidency of the G8. The GSG currently has 21 member countries plus the E.U., as well as active observers from leading network organizations. Chaired by Sir Ronald Cohen, the GSG brings together leaders from the worlds of finance, business, and philanthropy. The mission of the GSG is to harness the energy behind impact investment to spark a global movement.
