for a project to increase and improve financing for quality education in developing countries
The Global Campaign for Education (GCE) is the largest international advocacy coalition in education, consisting of development NGOs, teachers’ unions, national education coalitions, and children’s activist groups. With this final grant, the GCE will focus on launching a "literacy for all" campaign to improve learning for children and on securing a modest increase in donor funding for basic education. GCE will continue to use mass mobilization efforts, targeted policy work, and their seat in global policy forums to push governments to improve learning for children and ensure that sufficient resources are allocated to basic education.
