Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit arm of Giffords, seeks to arm activists, legislators, the public, and the media with the tools they need to understand the facts about U.S. gun violence and programs proven to save lives and bring an end to this uniquely American epidemic. Giffords Law Center works in all 50 states to conduct original research, to change policies and challenge injustice, to track and analyze gun safety bills, and to rank each state on the strength of their gun laws.
