Overview
Berkeley Society for the Preservation of Traditional Music, operating as the Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse, provides concerts, music instruction, and participatory programs for 90,000 people each year. Specializing in folk, traditional, and world music, it offers classes and concerts nearly every day of the year at its 440-seat facility in Berkeley. An Organizational Effectiveness grant will enable the organization to develop a plan to grow and diversify its audiences.
