For Support Of A Rights-based Approach To Family Planning

Overview
EngenderHealth works to improve access to and the quality of family planning and reproductive health services in more than fifteen countries in sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in the public sector where many women seek services. Using insights from previously-funded work, this grant will allow EngenderHealth to practically demonstrate how family planning service providers, policymakers, and community members in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa, can act to ensure that women’s rights are respected when seeking services.

for support of EngenderHealth’s programs and strategy in West Africa  
This grant will support the work of EngenderHealth to deepen and expand its program for sexual and reproductive health and rights in Francophone West Africa. EngenderHealth will focus on its work with youth-led organizations in Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire and Togo to strengthen their organizations and their impact as voices for accountability in the region. EngenderHealth is a leading global health organization working to implement high-quality, gender equitable programs that advance sexual and reproductive health and rights.
