Overview
EngenderHealth trains public sector health professionals to provide high-quality reproductive health services in more than 20 countries. This grant will support EngenderHealth’s organizational priorities during the grant period, which include work to train health care providers, offer supervision at health sites, and work with governments to secure the availability of contraceptive and other supplies. EngenderHealth also plans to play a global leadership role in promoting a woman’s right to choose her preferred contraceptive method and testing various models of how to protect these rights in public health care systems.

for support of EngenderHealth’s programs and strategy in West Africa  
This grant will support the work of EngenderHealth to deepen and expand its program for sexual and reproductive health and rights in Francophone West Africa. EngenderHealth will focus on its work with youth-led organizations in Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire and Togo to strengthen their organizations and their impact as voices for accountability in the region. EngenderHealth is a leading global health organization working to implement high-quality, gender equitable programs that advance sexual and reproductive health and rights.
