Overview
This grant will allow the Energy Foundation’s China program to develop strategies, make grants, and monitor and evaluate progress toward low-carbon policies. The Energy Foundation China re-grants to a broad array of organizations, including technical and policy experts working to advance the evidence necessary to promote sustainable energy and climate policies in China. The Energy Foundation China will focus on mitigating CO2 emissions in power, industry, transportation, and the built environment. In this grant period they will emphasize work that also mitigates criteria air pollution, promotes green finance, and embeds a 2050 strategy in their grantmaking.
