The Earth Day Network will partner with Moral Action for Climate to organize a People's Rally for Climate Justice on the National Mall in Washington DC at which Pope Francis is expected to speak. The purpose of the rally is to celebrate the moral leadership of the Pope and call upon US leaders to respond with bold leadership of their own.

This grant will support Earth Day Network in its Earth Day 50th anniversary event coming up in 2020. During this event, the Network will facilitate global community engagement through citizen science, advocacy, volunteerism, and education.
