Overview
Diablo Theatre Company has been producing musical theater in Contra Costa County for more than fifty years. In a recent transition, the theater will focus solely on its work with youth performers, offering a suite of education programs serving youth from 5 to 21 years of age and five major youth productions a year. With support this year, the organization will revamp its organizational structure, build its board, develop a strategic plan and continue its youth programming.

Diablo Light Opera Company (doing business as Diablo Theatre Company) has been producing musical theater in Contra Costa County for more than fifty years. The company annually performs three musical productions at the Dean Lesher Regional Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, which reach an audience of more than 40,000 people. In addition, the organization engages more than 200 young people aged four to twenty in musical theater through its Performing Arts Academy, which provides classes as well as two youth productions each year.
