Demos

A think tank for the progressive movement, Demos plays a unique role as the ideas engine driving the era-defining political reimagination that this moment offers. Since its founding in 2000, Demos has worked to fight the American system of racial capitalism and autocracy through an interdisciplinary approach that combines research, advocacy, multi-platform communications, legal expertise, and deep partnerships with grassroots organizations across the country. Through its work around economic democracy, democracy, and movement building, Demos champions solutions that will create a democracy and economy rooted in racial equity, and build power for Black and brown communities.
