Overview
The Cutting Ball Theater produces experimental new works and re-visioned classics, reaching an audience of 4,000 people each year. Building on several recent box office successes, praise from both critics and audiences, and the hiring of its first general manager, the company is rapidly but thoughtfully advancing its artistic reputation and infrastructure. Its board and staff leadership recognize that the board but must grow as well because it plays a critical role in the organization’s ability to continue to grow and thrive. Support for board development would enable CBT to hire a consultant to enable the group to identify what kind of change is needed and support them in bringing about the necessary reforms.
