Grants to this Grantee
for COVID-19 climate fiscal and monetary regulatory policy communications
Conveners.org is launching the Partnership for a Regenerative Climate Response to COVID-19 in order to catalyze change at the U.S. Treasury and Federal Reserve. With trillions of dollars of debt deployed for COVID-19 relief and recovery, and collapsing distinctions between fiscal and monetary policy, there is an opportunity to unite expertise from financial, environmental, and social policy across the political spectrum. The partnership will convene, craft messages, and put forth unified recommendations to respond to the immediate crises and shape trajectories in alignment with climate resiliency. The partnership, through comprehensive communication strategies, seeks to establish guardrails for climate justice on the massive amounts of funding being deployed in response to COVID-19 and the looming economic recession.
