Community Partners

This grant will support the organization and facilitation of the Left Coast Evaluators community of practice. The group is an informal peer network for evaluation and learning work in California-based foundations. The topics for each gathering are determined by the host organization and by other members of the network. They have included case studies on specific evaluation projects as well as developing institutionwide knowledge management systems and particular topics such as dashboards. About half of each day-long meeting is devoted to presentations and discussion, and the rest to informal networking among the participants. All participants cover their own travel expenses.
