for public opinion research
As part of Foundation efforts to broaden the base of support for land and water conservation and clean energy initiatives in the western United States, Hewlett funded a first-of-its-kind bipartisan public opinion poll in five Rocky Mountain states in 2011. The poll showed that residents shared a range of pro-environmental values across race, political party, geography, and other divisions. A project grant to Colorado College will allow the college to host the poll for a third year.
