Colectivo Ecologista Jalisco works to improve quality of life and protect the environment in Mexico. With this grant, it would continue to promote policies for improving mass transportation and reducing pollution in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area. The main outcomes expected are the reform of parking regulations to discourage the use of vehicles in one of the region’s cities and the extension of high-quality public transit to the whole metropolitan area.
for a clean and energy efficient public transportation system project in Guadalajara  
Colectivo Ecologista Jalisco works to improve quality of life and protect the environment in Mexico. With this grant the organization would promote policies to develop and enhance clean and efficient mass transportation in the Metropolitan Area of Guadalajara, Mexico. The main result would be the design and development of a traffic demand management solution for a congested district within Guadalajara, an eighteen kilometer second Bus Rapid Transit line, and a network of sixty kilometers of cycle paths in the city.
for a project to improve transportation air quality standards to reduce air pollution in Guadalajara  
The Colectivo Ecologista Jalisco works to improve the quality of life and protect the environment in the State of Jalisco, Mexico. With this grant the organization will increase awareness of the public health risks from poor air quality and its causes, among parents, elementary school teachers and pediatricians from Guadalajara City. The increased awareness among target groups will be used to advocate for stringent air quality and vehicle emissions standards.
