The Coalition for Clean Air focuses on reducing air pollution coming from Califiornia's major sources. CCA successfully advocated for the groundbreaking Clean Trucks program at the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles that will reduce pollution by 70 percent in five years. CCA advocates that a $700 million community benefits fund be adopted by 2012 to reduce air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions in disadvantaged communities. It is also working to defend California's landmark diesel truck rule in order to reduce truck emissions by 30 percent, as well as to reduce the Central Valley's pollution from diesel agricultural equipment.
