The Coalition for Clean Air (CCA) is a Californian advocacy environmental organization, known by its contribution to air quality improvements around ports, specifically the successful Clean Trucks program at the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. With this grant, CCA will lead and re-engage the coalition of clean air, public health and environmental justice organizations to develop a more comprehensive strategy around freight, including infrastructure, logistics and new technologies to further reduce global warming and conventional pollutant emissions.

for a field assessment and development of programmatic and communication strategies
The Coalition for Clean Air (CCA) will use this $50,000 grant to increase its organizational capacity to define and meet its programmatic, communication and fundraising needs. CCA will hire a consultant to conduct a scan of the field, along with the organizaiton's members and potential members, allies, and partners. This scan will help inform recommendations on CCA's role vis-a-vis other organizations, its program and policy focus, and the way in which it communicates with key constituencies to build financial support for the organization.
