Overview
The Coalition for Clean Air (CCA) requests a grant to revamp their website. Revamping the website will do 3 things: update the quality of the website to better reflect the organization's caliber, since it is not technologically up to date; assistant in the rebranding effort to help the organization distinguish itself from competitors and better attract funding; and help the organization save money on its web presence by bringing content management in house. CCA is the anchor grantee for the New Constituencies for the Environment Program, and has been key to the Environment Program's efforts to broaden the base of support for environmental issues. The Coalition for Clean Air (CCA) is a Californian advocacy environmental organization, known by its contribution to air quality improvements around ports, specifically the successful Clean Trucks program at the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. for a field assessment and development of programmatic and communication strategies
The Coalition for Clean Air (CCA) will use this $50,000 grant to increase its organizational capacity to define and meet its programmatic, communication and fundraising needs. CCA will hire a consultant to conduct a scan of the field, along with the organizaiton's members and potential members, allies, and partners. This scan will help inform recommendations on CCA's role vis-a-vis other organizations, its program and policy focus, and the way in which it communicates with key constituencies to build financial support for the organization.
