This project seeks to defend the authority of the EPA to address local air pollution and greenhouse gas pollution from power plants. The project will also engage in administrative advocacy to persuade the EPA to address greenhouse gas emissions from existing power plants.

The Clean Air Task Force uses expert forums and policy advocacy and engages directly with private sector partners to promote policies that protect public health and promote innovation. Its mission is to accelerate zero carbon energy and other climate-beneficial technologies. The Task Force is focusing its efforts on promoting carbon capture use and storage in the United States and China. This grant is related to our work in the coal sector.
