Overview
Civic Nation uses organizing, engagement and public awareness to address some of our nation's most pressing challenges. In partnership with the White House and The Beeck Center at Georgetown University, Civic Nation will produce a summit on civic engagement in the summer of 2016. There, innovative and successful initiatives and programs in civic and democratic engagement will be highlighted; and a national campaign, and summit series will be launched.
It is Civic Nation’s goal to include a wide range of individuals, organizations, regions and perspectives in the summit. This project grant will be used to provide travel expense scholarships to as many individuals as possible who would otherwise be unable to attend.
