Overview
In recognition of the Hewlett Foundation’s 50th anniversary, the Hewlett 50 Arts Commissions initiative supports the creation and premiere of 50 exceptional works of performing art. This grant will support the Chinese Culture Foundation of San Francisco in developing and presenting lead artist Heesoo Kwon’s “Leymusoom Mukkuli.” The project will culminate in a multimedia ritual rooted in Korean shamanism, co-created with community members, to combine digital, physical, and spiritual worlds for intergenerational healing.
