For Support Of A Cyber Policy Research Agenda For India

Overview
A grant to the Centre for Internet and Society will continue to support its efforts to carry out interdisciplinary research that balances societal imperatives for citizens, governments, and industry. It includes five core research and policy areas: (a) building a knowledge base of the cybersecurity ecosystem in India; (b) exploring the processes, tools, and resources to assist investigations into cross-border cybersecurity incidents; (c) generating recommendations regarding implementation of India’s 2013 National Cybersecurity Framework; (d) distilling best practices for cybersecurity training by studying the ethical hacker community in India; and (e) developing a better understanding of the economics of cybersecurity.
