Overview
Incorporated in 2013 as a Hong Kong-based charity, the Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society (CAPS) is an independent and uniquely Asian organization working to increase transparency; improve governance; and aid the efficacy of philanthropists, governments, and social delivery organizations to address societal challenges across the region. A grant to CAPS will support the Delta Philanthropy project, which will identify five families each in China, Indonesia, and India who employ Delta Philanthropy i.e., their personal and family philanthropy runs alongside their corporate social responsibility (CSR) either in terms of operations or strategy or both. The results will be published as a report and used to explain different motivations and factors influencing philanthropic decision making within the Asian context.
