Center for Applied Environmental Law and Policy

The Center for Applied Environmental Law and Policy furthers innovation in environmental law and policy so that it can best serve its purpose: protecting individuals, communities, and natural systems from environmental threats and making the often-hidden costs of environmental harms visible and salient. The center serves as a nexus for integrating the technical and legal work on policies that can drive reductions of GHGs and other pollutants through regulations. This grant supports the Center for Applied Environmental Law and Policy in its efforts to advance and defend environmental regulations in the United States to ensure that climate and air pollution mitigation and clean energy deployment is more ambitious, broadly supported, and more legally robust.
