Overview
This renewal grant to the Center for American Progress will continue support for its successful efforts to seek protection for ecologically sensitive land, ensure energy development on public lands is balanced with conservation, and reform the federal coal program to provide a fair return to taxpayers. To reach its goals, the Center will work with recreational users of public lands, businesses, and conservation organizations to develop wise policies and help diverse voices from around the West speak on behalf of land protection and coal royalty reform.
