Branch Alliance for Educator Diversity (BranchED) is a national nonprofit dedicated to strengthening, growing, and amplifying the impact of educator preparation programs at minority-serving institutions, with the larger goals of both diversifying the teaching profession and intentionally addressing critical issues of educational equity for all students. With this grant, BranchED will collaborate with partners including AI experts to develop a generative AI platform to support both preservice teacher candidates and in-service educators with developing their instructional skillsets.

With this grant, BranchED will continue its work of designing programs at its partner institutions to strengthen instructional practices supportive of equitable deeper learning.

With this grant, the nonprofit will design programs at these institutions to strengthen instructional practices supportive of deeper learning, which will include creating and implementing high-quality open educational resources. This work advances efforts to expand access to deeper learning in underserved communities and promotes diversity in the development and use of OER.
