Overview
This grant is a collaboration between the Racial Justice Initiative and the Gender Equity and Governance Program, in support of the Okra Collaborative, a partnership launched in 2021 designed to identify Black feminist leaders and organizations globally. The project is coordinated by Black Feminist Future in the United States, and aims to map Black feminist organizations working in the African diaspora to increase connectivity, share resources, and exchange ideas across Black feminist movements. Through the seeding funds provided by this grant, the partnership will invest in building collective power while aligning on transnational issues of interest.
