Founded by young people and led by young people, BEOG NEERE’s mission is to help build a Burkina Faso where peace, human rights, democracy, and good governance reign. BEOG NEERE’s vision is a democratic, free, and prosperous Burkina Faso where all parties, civil society, government, private sector, and citizens all work for a common interest. BEOG NEERE also works to entrench democracy and good governance in Francophone Africa. This grant will enable BEOG NEERE to increase the involvement of young people and women in the development of the municipal budget and citizen monitoring of budget expenditure. for creation and management of the Francophone Africa CSO Network for Open Government  
BEOG NEERE is a nonprofit association under Burkinabè law. Founded in 2012 by young people and led by young people, BEOG NEERE's mission is to help build a Burkina Faso where peace, human rights, democracy, and good governance reign. BEOG NEERE's vision is a democratic, free, and prosperous Burkina Faso where all parties, civil society, government, private sector, and citizens all work for a common interest. BEOG NEERE also works to entrench democracy and good governance in Francophone Africa. This grant will enable BEOG NEERE to create and manage the “Réseau des OSC d'Afrique Francophone pour le Gouvernement Ouvert” (RAFGO) — in English, the Francophone Africa CSO Network for Open Government. In a first phase, it will proceed with the legal constitution of the network and its promotion. In a second phase, it will support the member CSOs in activities related to the Open Government Partnership and will conduct advocacy toward governments and technical and financial partners in order to sustain the network.
