The Beijing Institute of Finance and Sustainability provides research, analysis, and training for sustainable finance. The Institute will identify pathways and implement strategies to advance green finance, including climate-friendly investments, in China and the Belt and Road regions. Its work includes engaging financial leaders and regulators to share green finance knowledge and best practices. Goals by 2050 include ensuring more than 50% of banking assets and 20% of fixed income assets in China are green, and more than 50% of investments in Belt and Road countries go to green projects.
