Overview
Battelle for Kids is a national nonprofit that collaborates with school systems and communities to harness the power and promise of 21st century deeper learning for every student. The grantee will work with educational organizations and school districts to spread a student-centered accountability program, which includes accountability and improvement guidelines and tools, a review process to identify innovative practices, and a school superintendent-led community focused on improvement across a network of schools. This work presents a replicable approach that will contribute to knowledge about the spread of new practices.

EdLeader21, a network of Battelle for Kids, is a professional learning community working to implement deeper learning in district education systems. This Organizational Effectiveness grant will enable the grantee to undertake capacity building around diversity, equity, and inclusion; in particular, the funding would support analysis and planning around hiring and support of human resources.
