Grants to this Grantee
for general operating support
Backcountry Hunters and Anglers is an important voice of the sporting community in support of protecting roadless land, constraining the use of off-road vehicles, and finding a balance between energy production and habitat protection. This grant would provide the organization with resources that would allow it to expand its mission into new and important areas in the West.
for general operating support
Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, a new voice in the sporting community, represents hunters and fishers who value human-powered sporting opportunities. The group supports the protection of roadless lands, opposes the expansion of motorized vehicles into fragile habitat, and favors a balance between fossil energy development and habitat protection. This general support grant would allow Backcountry Hunters & Anglers to continue to grow, expand its membership, and increase its impact on federal land management policies.
