Grants to this Grantee
for general operating support
Backcountry Hunters and Anglers (BHA) is the voice for our wild public lands, waters, and wildlife. The organization seeks to ensure North America’s outdoor heritage of hunting and fishing in a natural setting through education and work on behalf of fish, wildlife, and wild places. By promoting science-based management policies and habitat protection, BHA is working to marshal and unify voices across North America to ensure that robust populations of fish and wildlife have access to clean water and intact landscapes. (Substrategy: Advance Conservation Protections)
for general operating support
Backcountry Hunters and Anglers is an important voice of the sporting community in support of protecting roadless land, constraining the use of off-road vehicles, and finding a balance between energy production and habitat protection. This grant would provide the organization with resources that would allow it to expand its mission into new and important areas in the West.
