Grants to this Grantee
for general operating support
Aurora Theatre Company strives to enrich the lives of its audience by producing high-quality classic, contemporary, and rediscovered work that shines in its intimate, 150-seat theater. The company has a five-play main stage season and annually reaches more than 30,000 people with its programs. Each year, Aurora presents its Global Age Project, a festival of new plays that encourages playwrights to engage with and articulate contemporary issues. Over the course of the grant period, the organization plans to maintain its suite of strong artistic programs, create a second-stage program in its recently opened new space, and continue efforts to increase the age diversity of its audience.
