for support of organizational diversity, equity and inclusion capacity to advance educational equity
for business community engagement in support of deeper learning
The Community Growth Educational Foundation (CGEF) supports the mission of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives by providing chamber CEOs with tools, research, and knowledge. With this renewal grant, in partnership with the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, CGEF would offer online resources for education and action, host a multiday academy for chamber executives, highlight leading practices, and coach self-selected chamber memberships to more effectively support educational reforms that advance deeper learning instruction and assessment. These activities will help the business community become a strong voice in public education reform discussions about college- and career-readiness for all young people.
for business community outreach in support of deeper learning
The Community Growth Educational Foundation supports the mission of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives by providing chamber CEOs with the tools, research, and knowledge they need to shape the futures of their communities. In partnership with the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce proposal described below, the foundation will create a toolkit and educational materials, host a multiday academy, and highlight leading practices to help chambers of commerce and their members more effectively support educational reforms that advance deeper learning instruction and assessment. These activities will help the business community become a major voice in public education reform discussions about college- and career-readiness for all young people.
