Grants to this Grantee
for support of the Rodel Fellowships in Public Leadership program
The Aspen Institute’s Rodel Fellowships in Public Leadership convenes young elected officials to develop a more civil, less partisan, and more thoughtful approach to public governance and to change the ways in which political leaders relate to and work with each other. This grant will help expand beyond the core program with new pilot projects to determine what kinds of activities and programs are most valuable to the growing network of fellows and, for the first time, include activities for some staff.
for support of the Aspen Congressional Program
The Aspen Congressional Program plays an important role in building bipartisan relationships in Congress and educating U.S. House and Senate members about foreign policy issues. Members of Congress regularly cite the Congressional Program as one of the best truly nonpartisan learning environments available to them and an excellent opportunity for cross-party dialogue. This renewal grant will allow Congressional Program participants to discuss ideas and analyze policies in a series of breakfast meetings on Capitol Hill and in three or four conferences outside the U.S. every year.
