Founded in 1913, the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) mission is "to stop the defamation of the Jewish people, and to secure justice and fair treatment to all." The ADL seeks to achieve its mission through a variety of programs, including: fighting Anti-Semitism and promoting discourse about Israel; partnering with law enforcement to combat hate and protect communities; working to combat cyber-bullying and online hate; pursuing fair treatment for all through community-based and national advocacy; and promoting respectful schools and communities through anti-bias and anti-bullying education.
