Overview
The American Educational Research Association is a membership organization that encourages scientific inquiry related to education and evaluation and that promotes the dissemination and practical application of research results. The association will create the Study of Deeper Learning Fellows Program, which will provide professional guidance and training for up to eight postdoctoral and early-career scholars who will conduct substantive research using the data set generated by the recent American Institutes for Research study of deeper learning schools. Creating a cadre of researchers engaged in deeper learning inquiry will expand the knowledge base around deeper learning.
