American Civil Liberties Union Foundation of Northern California

The American Civil Liberties Union Foundation of Northern California has for a number of years played a leading role in protecting and advancing reproductive health and rights, both in California and throughout the nation. This grant would provide continuing support for its Reproductive Justice Project. This Project employs integrated litigation, policy advocacy, organizing, and communication strategies to support and expand reproductive freedom in areas ranging from comprehensive sex education to access to abortion. The Project has a particular emphasis on strengthening reproductive health programs in California’s Central Valley, home to some of the state’s most vulnerable populations.
