Overview
The American Association for the Advancement of Science is leading the Campaign for Science on behalf of 11 science and engineering societies. The Campaign is aimed at creating a platform to strengthen the capacity of the science community to be effective advocates for science. It will create a new model for science advocacy that encourages collaboration and coordination among science and engineering organizations and institutions while inspiring, engaging, and organizing new voices that have significant impact in decision making and society as a whole.

for the Science & Technology Policy Fellowships (STPF) program alumni network  
With individual members spanning 91 countries and more than 250 affiliated societies, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) is a leader in providing a voice for science on societal issues and promoting and defending the integrity of science and its use. This grant supports the creation of an alumni network for the AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowships (STPF) program, which has trained more than 48 classes of S&T Policy Fellows, placing more than 4,000 scientists and engineers in the executive branch at more than 20 federal agencies, more than 1,200 fellows in the U.S. Congress, and new placements in the judicial branch.
