for support of 18 Million Rising
18 Million Rising, a program of Allied Media Projects, was created in 2012 to educate, activate, and organize young Asian Americans. The project’s digital-first advocacy tactics elevate the voices of and mobilize over 150,000 members to take action on issues that impact Asian Americans. This grant is one of several made to support organizations serving Asian and Pacific Islander communities, in the Bay Area and beyond, in response to the rise of violence against these communities in 2020 and 2021.
