The Alaska Community Foundation (ACF), with about $79 million in assets for charitable causes in Alaska, is a statewide platform for growing philanthropy that connects people who care with causes that matter. This grant is intended to support ACF’s increased operational capacity and implementation of the Social Justice Fund. The Nudlaghi Leadership Institute brings together nonprofit CEOs, community leaders, national funders, and others to spend focused time building connection, experiencing Alaska’s rich environment, and tapping into the power of their cohort to solve current issues. Off the grid and away from the pressures of their daily jobs, leaders have time and space to be present, connect, and begin conversations that over time will strengthen communities across Alaska.
