Overview
Advocates for Youth promotes programs and policies that help young people around the world make informed decisions about their reproductive and sexual health. This grant would support the 1 in 3 Campaign, a nationwide effort to increase the visibility of abortion experiences through storytelling. This is done by gathering and disseminating women’s stories, doing events like the online national abortion speak-out, and a play that will tour nationally. Advocates for Youth’s long-term goal with the Campaign is to see abortion through personal experiences, and to increase public and political support for abortion rights.

Advocates for Youth works to promote policies and programs that recognize young people’s rights to sexual health information, accessible and affordable sexual health services, and the resources and opportunities necessary to create sexual health equity for all youth.
