Advancement Project is a multiracial civil rights organization working on systems change in California. For more than two decades, it has worked to expand educational opportunities, create healthy environments and communities, develop the connective tissue of an inclusive democracy, and shift public investments toward equity.

Advancement Project Californi is a multiracial civil rights organization that works on systems-level changes in education, health, and community. This grant will support the group’s Birth to Twelfth Grade Water Cooler efforts, which include hosting a two-day conference, publishing a series of papers, conducting outreach efforts for both, and developing a policy agenda. This project brings together state educational leaders, K-12 and higher education leaders, parents, and advocates to discuss policies and practices that advance an equity agenda.
