Grants to this Grantee
for support of the economic rights work of the women's rights program
ActionAid is an international network building a just, equitable, and sustainable world in solidarity with communities on the front lines of poverty and injustice. This grant to ActionAid USA will continue to support the Valuing Women’s Work and Young Urban Women projects under one grant. ActionAid USA will promote movement building with young urban women in Ghana, India, and South Africa around economic security, bodily integrity, and unpaid care work. ActionAid USA will support convenings, networking, and the presence of advocates in key decision-making spaces, and it will advocate for economic policy alternatives with a feminist lens. (Strategy: International Women’s Economic Empowerment)
