Overview
Achieve requests a grant to support collaborative development by New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts (with up to three other interested states) of model curricula and instructional tools aligned with the Common Core State Standards and the PARCC assessment consortium’s content framework. Achieve will facilitate the development of these tools and support a process to review the quality and rigor of the instructional units and their alignment with the Common Core standards and PARCC assessments. This work will leverage the states’ Race to the Top funding for curricular materials.

Achieve plans to work with a set of states to support training in OER tools and guidelines developed under a previous grant. The project also intends to merge its work with the EQuIP project to support states as they move toward adoption of next-generation digital resources.
