Overview
Achieve, the managing partner for one of the two state assessment consortia, received a $350,000 Foundation grant in March to develop prototypes of tests that measure deeper learning. Achieve now seeks support for state and national communications teams to educate parents, educators, the media, and the public about the benefits of replacing current testing systems with this next generation of assessments.

Achieve plans to work with a set of states to support training in OER tools and guidelines developed under a previous grant. The project also intends to merge its work with the EQuIP project to support states as they move toward adoption of next-generation digital resources.
