for Shake the Table
Fiscally sponsored by Panorama Global, Shake the Table is a collective that bridges governments; philanthropy; the private sector; and movements for racial, gender, and economic justice, facilitating the flow of resources and creative ideas toward collective liberation. Shake the Table envisions a future in which we all have the resources and power to shape decisions that impact our lives. To reach this goal, Shake the Table shares knowledge, moves resources, convenes dialogues, expands networks, and creates practical tools. Shake the Table is focused on three objectives: developing stronger relationships between feminist movements and philanthropists; generating increased political will within the philanthropic sector to address barriers to capital faced by feminist movements; and increasing the quantity and quality of philanthropic funding flowing to feminist movements globally. for support linking gender, climate, and reproductive justice in global and national policies and programs
This grant to Panorama Global will support rapid and flexible investments in four community-based organizations in East and Francophone West Africa working to integrate climate and reproductive equity. Made collaboratively with Hewlett's climate strategy, this project will support these organizations to inform their national climate action plans and engage in major advocacy events to address gaps in the integration of population dynamics, reproductive health, and environmental conservation. Learning from this work will be shared with stakeholders including a donor community of practice to accelerate action and shift more funding and awareness to this critical intersection.
