This grant supports a faculty collaboration between two George Mason University centers: EdPolicyForward: The Center for Education Policy, and the Center for Advancing Human-Machine Partnership (CAHMP). The project, informed by both rigorous empirical research and advanced machine learning and analytics, aims to place actionable insights at the fingertips of practitioners that will enable them to improve student access to opportunity and outcomes through more equitable, efficient, and effective allocation of educational resources. for support of the National Security Institute
A grant to the National Security Institute at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School will support a wide array of education and capacity-building efforts, including a Technologist Fellowship to expose technical experts to policy issues, a Tech Bootcamp for Lawyers & Policymakers, and a Judicial Training Seminar focused on national security and technology. The grant will also support the institute’s growing Cyber and Emerging Technology research program.
